Since 1998, we have grown alongside our students, our team and a way of understanding training that remains closely connected to the reality of aviation.
Explore our storyAerodynamics Academy is an aviation training school founded in Málaga in 1998. Twenty-eight years later, we train aviation professionals from an aviation campus beside LEAX, with more than 30 aircraft and an environment that brings together theory, simulation, operations, maintenance and flying.
Ours is not simply a story of growth. It is the story of the people who have studied, taught and worked here; of the decisions that have moved us forward and of a way of training pilots that we continue to develop every day.
These five moments do not tell the whole story of everything that has happened since 1998. They do show how each stage expanded what we could offer our students and prepared the way for the next.

From 1998 to 2026: five moments that shaped our growth
1998
We began training pilots
Aerodynamics was founded in Málaga with a clear idea: to provide rigorous, personal aviation training closely connected to practice. Those first students, instructors and professionals set in motion a project that still carries the same ambition today.
We began with fewer resources, but with something that remains essential: the commitment to support each student's progression with sound judgement, high standards and individual attention.
2003
We opened a new centre in Málaga
Five years later, the project needed more space to continue moving forward. The new centre expanded our training capacity and consolidated Aerodynamics' presence in Málaga.
It was a period of growth, new programmes and a community that was beginning to bring together students with increasingly varied backgrounds and ambitions.
2020
Training came together beside the runway
The opening of our new centre beside La Axarquía aerodrome marked a change of scale. Our aviation campus at LEAX brought classrooms, simulators, planning, operations, maintenance and flight activity closer together.
This proximity is more than a logistical advantage. It helps students understand that every flight is part of a complete process: prepare, decide, execute and review.
2025
We opened a new centre in Granada
In 2025, Aerodynamics opened a new centre in Granada, expanding our presence and adding another location to the project that began in Málaga in 1998.
The opening marked another step in the Academy's growth and allowed us to bring our training closer to a new community of students while maintaining the same approach to teaching that has guided our development over the years.
2026
We opened Aerodynamics Inn
With Aerodynamics Inn we added a part of the experience that takes place outside the classroom but has a direct impact on training: a place to live, rest, study and share this stage with other students.
More than 10,000 m² and 83 rooms complete an environment designed for students arriving from other cities and countries who need to focus on an especially demanding training programme.
A shared story
An academy is built by people
Facilities change. Technology moves forward. But training still depends on the people who make it possible every day.
Over these 28 years, we have supported students who arrived with a vocation and left prepared to continue their professional journey. Many walked through the Academy's doors for the first time without yet knowing everything becoming a pilot would demand; others came from different countries looking for training that combined knowledge, practice and judgement.
Alongside them have been our instructors, operations team, maintenance staff, administration and all the people who support a training day before an aircraft ever leaves the ground. Every class, every briefing, every review and every decision forms part of the same learning process.
That is why, when we look back, we do not simply see a sequence of locations or dates. We see a community that has grown around aviation and turned each stage into the starting point for the next.
Today we have more resources and greater capacity. The objective remains the same: to train professionals who understand flying and the responsibility that comes with it.
