With the following training, our cadets obtain an EASA commercial pilot licence with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating & APS MCC, acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the standards of airline-ready level, allowing our graduates to start a First Officer´s career right after completing the training
It offers flexibility when it comes to the time frame for those who are already committed to a full time job or parallel studies. Also, and most importantly, it offers quality training, speed and high academic results for those who wish to take the programme as a full time student.
The full programme can be completed between 16 to 18 months although many of our graduated students have achieved their Commercial Pilot Licence in as little as 14 months.
With the following training, our students obtain EASA PPL, SEP, MEP, IR, CPL, and APS MCC.

With approximately 200 hours of real flight training and 90 hours of simulator training, 45 of them on our state of the art Airbus A320 Simulator.
Aerodynamics Academy’s modular ATPL course meets all the Part-FCL requirements of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
*If you currently hold any licence, ratings or hours of experience, these will be credited towards the full programme at Aerodynamics Academy.*
The obtention of the Private Pilot Licence takes between 6-10 weeks, depending entirely on theory progress. It will allow you to act as pilot in command (PIC) in non-commercial operations on aeroplanes. All flights must be done in good weather conditions otherwise an instrument rating will be required.
The first step in modular training to becoming a holder of fATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence)
The PPL comprises 9 theory subjects which can be completed either in-house or distant learning (4 weeks). The official written exams are held at our campus, Aerodynamics Academy is an authorised EASA exam centre.
The practical part of the private pilot course comprises 5 hours in a FNPT II flight simulator and 40 hours’ flight time in a single-engine aircraft, with at least 10 hours as pilot in command (SPIC). ‘
The flying phase of the course comes to a close with a practical skill test performed by an authorized Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA) examiner.
Our school is an official exam centre and all written exams are held on our main campus in Malaga, under Austro Control and delivered entirely in the English language.
The stage comprises 650H total classroom theory. The lessons are delivered Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm adding computer based training for self-study; all manuals included E-book format, progress test, video media and question banks.
This course can also be performed on a distance learning basis.

The official written exams are scheduled every 8 weeks.
Time Building or Hour Build is the most important stage to becoming a proficient and confident Pilot in Command.
This essential part of the training is generally performed during the ATPL ground school.

Night Rating is one of the most exciting elements of commercial pilot training
Landing at night in big airports, enjoying the amazing views, will be hard to forget. EASA Night Rating course will allow you to fly at night under VFR conditions. This course is one of the requirements to access Instrument Rating (IR) and The elements NR VFR are:
4 hours ground lessons
5 hours flight training (one as PIC) divided in two nights
A-UPRT stands for ‘upset prevention and recovery training’, combining theoretical knowledge and flight training
Fundamental course to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for pilots to anticipate, avoid loss of control in flight and, develop the appropriate techniques to recover from adverse situations in which an aeroplane unintentionally exceeds the parameters for line operation or training (aeroplane upsets).
The elements A-UPRT course are:
5 hours ground lessons
3 hours Single-Engine Piston Training
Multi-Engine Instrument Rating & PBN + Commercial Pilot Licence
Having completed the ATPL ground school and most of the time building, students start straight away with the advanced flight training. This involves adding class rating Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) and Instrument Rating with Performance Based Navigation (MEIR&PBN).
The advanced training is completed with the commercial pilot practical training (CPL).
The Multi-Engine Rating allows the license holder to operate a twin-engine aircraft instrument meteorological conditions, including day/night flights.
The CPL allows the holder to act as pilot in command of an aircraft for financial reward in single-pilot operation, and also permits the holder to act as a co-pilot of a multi-crew aircraft for which they are qualified.
Achieving a first position as an airline pilot can be challenging and requires extensive preparation and a lot of support.
The APS MCC – Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation, is an improved version of the MCC course.
The Airline Pilot Standard Multi Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) is an enhanced MCC course to train pilots in multi-crew environment up to airline standards.
The purpose of this enhanced training is to better prepare the new pilot for the job on a modern aircraft in a modern airline environment.
Our APS MCC is performed in our Airbus 320 simulator approved by EASA. It has been designed to give new pilots all the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully pass the airline entrance exams and to allow the pilot to adapt to a work environment adequately.

Airline Pilot Standard (APS)
Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC)
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Jet Orientation Training (JOT)
Additionally, specific training in key areas needed for airline evaluations such as knowledge of aircraft systems and FMS use, aircraft flight path management, normal and abnormal SOPs, awareness situational, leadership and teamwork.
