Turn your passion for aviation into your future career with the Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
This private pilot course will qualify you to fly a single-engine aircraft privately or recreationally, and is just the first step towards your dream of becoming an Airline Transport Pilot (FROZEN ATPL).
Our PPL course has a flexible duration, tailored to your pace and needs: you can complete the programme in as little as 4 to 6 weeks with our accelerated course, or follow the standard 8 to 12 week format.
Taught entirely in English, this course offers you over 30 hours of hands-on training with highly qualified instructors.
In addition, you will study 9 core subjects, which you can complete either face-to-face or by distance learning depending on your availability.
The subjects are:
- Aviation legislation
- General aircraft knowledge
- Performance
- Human factors
- Meteorology
- Navigations
- Operational Procedures
- Principles of flight
- Communications
The theory is taught in parallel to the flight training, so that the student has a comprehensive training from the first day.
The practical part of the private pilot course includes 5 hours in a FNPT II flight simulator and 40 hours of flight in a single-engine aircraft, with models such as Cessna 172, PIPER 28 with Diesel engines and the advanced Aspen Avionics ‘glass cockpit’.
In this phase, the student will carry out at least 25 hours of real flight instruction and a minimum of 10 hours as pilot in command.
Throughout the entire process, they will be monitored on the ground by their flight instructor, ensuring continuous and supervised training. The course culminates with a practical skill test, conducted by an examiner authorised by the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).
